The Oxynade by SecuTix automated print tool can be used to listen on a directory for PDF downloads and automatically send them to a selected printer.
System Requirements
Oxynade Ticket Print Manager runs on Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10.
It may be used to print Oxynade PDF ticket files downloaded using Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.
Preparing for Installation
You can download the latest version of the tool by clicking here. Make sure to unzip the installation file to receive TicketPrintManagerSetup.msi.
Requirements
Before installing Oxynade Ticket Print Manager, you should prepare your computer by installing Foxit Reader (an alternative to Adobe Reader that is better suited to automated PDF printing).
Install the latest version of Foxit Reader by downloading and running the installer from here.
When installing Foxit Reader, you only need to install the PDF viewer files and the shell extensions:
There’s no need to activate any of Foxit Reader’s additional features:
Also, note that the free edition of Foxit Reader tries to install some additional trial products. You’ll need to manually override this:
Installing Ticket Print Manager
Install Ticket Print Manager by double clicking on the file TicketPrintManagerSetup.msi.
This will install the application and create a shortcut that launches it each time you start your computer. It will also create a desktop shortcut that allows you to launch the application manually.
To test the auto-start process, you will need to restart your computer or logout and log into it again.
After the restart, you should see the application icon in your Windows system tray.
Configuring Ticket Print Manager
Before you can use Ticket Print Manager, you need to configure it to correctly discover your downloaded ticket files and send them to the correct printer.
Click on the system tray icon to open the application window:
Use the printer drop-down to select the printer that you will use to print tickets.
Use the folder select button to select the folder that will store your downloaded tickets. The download folder is the folder that your web browser is configured to download to.
When you have selected the download folder, Ticket Print Manager will automatically create a subfolder within it, named Printed Tickets, where it will save an archive copy of the PDF ticket files that it has printed (before deleting them from your download folder).
After you have finished configuring Ticket Print Manager, you may hide it by clicking the X button in the top right corner of its application window. Do not click the Exit button unless you wish to terminate it.
Your configuration will be saved, so you don’t need to reconfigure it each time you use it.
Automatically Printing Tickets
Use your web browser to create and download Oxynade event tickets. As soon as each batch of tickets is downloaded (as a PDF file) to your configured download folder, it will be detected by Ticket Print Manager and sent to the configured printer. After printing, the file will be moved to the Printed Tickets subfolder within the download folder.
If you need to reprint a batch of tickets, you may either manually move the corresponding PDF file back to the download folder or simply download it again.
